How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your CoupleList account at any time using one of the following methods:

Mobile App
Go to Profile → Legal → Delete Account and confirm the deletion.
Email Request
Send a request to privacy@couplelist.app from the email address associated with your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Profile Information
Your name, email address, profile picture, and all personal details.
To-Do Lists & Items
All to-do lists you created, including items, ratings, and completion history.
Photos & Media
All photos uploaded as completion memories or profile images.
Location Data
Any saved or planned locations associated with your activities.
Notifications & Preferences
All notification history and your preference settings.
Feedback
Any feedback or recommendations you submitted.

Couple Data

If you are part of a couple, deleting your account will remove your participation from the couple. Your partner's account and their individual data will not be affected. Shared to-do lists will remain accessible to your partner, but your ratings and personal contributions will be removed.

Processing Time

Account deletion is processed immediately when initiated from the app. Email requests are processed within 48 hours. Once deletion is complete, the action cannot be undone.

Data Retention

After account deletion, we may retain certain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes that cannot be used to identify you. We may also retain data as required by applicable law or legitimate business interests (e.g., fraud prevention). For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
